Job Description
ChevronChevron Australia has an exciting opportunity for an experienced Perth-based Marketing Manager - Domestic Gas reporting to the General Manager Domestic Gas Marketing. This is a permanent senior marketing position with key responsibility to market, negotiate and finalise required agreements in order to commercialize Chevron’s domestic gas.

Key Responsibilities include:
  • Lead negotiations for the marketing and sale of Chevron’s domestic gas
  • Manage customer selection and interface process
  • Develop, negotiate and complete commercial agreements for the use of infrastructure as required
  • Develop, build alignment and apply new and innovative commercial solutions to maximize the enterprise value
  • Develop and promote Chevron’s brand and reputation
  • Supervise, mentor and train gas marketing team members to increase organisation knowledge and capability
  • Provide guidance and input to the development of the systems, processes and procedures required to ensure Chevron’s domestic gas supply is ready for start-up and ongoing commercial operations
  • Participate in the development of Domestic gas commercialisation plans
  • Commitment to health, environment and safety and Chevron best practices
Key skills and experience required:
  • An Engineering, Commerce, Law or Business degree
  • Broad knowledge of domestic gas markets including commercial and operational experience
  • Expertise in gas sales and purchase agreements, contracting and commercial terms, negotiation and understanding of their form and purpose
  • Ability to generate new commercial concepts and approaches in areas including sales, marketing, infrastructure, and processing
  • Demonstrated skill in leading negotiations and ability to finalise agreements that meet or exceed mandates
  • Ability to work as a lead or member of a multi-functional team and a willingness to train and mentor other employees to build organisational capability
  • Excellent communication skills both written and oral, with the ability to engage with diverse groups of people
  • Demonstrated commitment to Chevron’s values of integrity, partnership and trust and achieving an incident and injury free environment
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships confidently with both internal and external stakeholders
